Complete basement transformation from framing to finish. Denver-based, Colorado-trained, zero outsourcing.
A finished basement is one of the highest-ROI home improvements you can make. But only if it's done right. Too many basements fail because contractors cut corners on moisture management, electrical codes, or structural work. We finish basements the way they should be built—solid, dry, and to code.
We handle everything ourselves: framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, flooring, windows. No subcontractors disappearing at 3 p.m. No finger-pointing when something doesn't work. You get one company that owns every part of the job.
A basement isn't finished until it's truly finished. We start with a structural audit—checking for settling, cracks, moisture patterns, and load-bearing requirements. Then we build it right. Framing: We install stud walls that are straight, secure, and configured for your layout. If you need a load-bearing wall (for stairs, support beams, etc.), we engineer it. Rough-in electrical and plumbing comes before drywall goes up, and it's done to code. Moisture management is non-negotiable in Colorado basements. Our clay soil holds water. We install interior French drains where needed, ensure proper grading outside, specify vapor barriers, and test for radon. We've had soil engineers on site. We don't guess. Drywall and finishes: professional-grade hang, tape, and finish work. Smooth ceilings or textured—your call. Paint goes on clean surfaces with proper primer. The details matter.
Maybe you have an older finished basement that's dated, cramped, or just not working anymore. We reconfigure it. Remove walls, relocate utilities, add a bathroom, expand the living space. We pull permits and do the structural work right. Bathroom additions in basements: framing, plumbing rough-in, tile work, ventilation, waterproofing. We know how to run drain lines and ensure slope on concrete slabs. Basements catch water—we build bathrooms that don't leak.
Home theater or media room: we handle framing, electrical for outlets and recessed lighting, acoustic considerations (we can recommend materials), and AV rough-in. Drywall and paint to create the environment you want. In-law suite or ADU: bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette. Egress windows for legal bedrooms (Colorado requires them). All mechanical systems sized for the space. Home office: office space with proper electrical for equipment, storage, and built-ins. We frame office walls, install wiring, and finish to match your style.
Colorado requires egress windows in bedrooms, including basements. We install them correctly: proper header sizing, frame reinforcement, well drainage, and compliance with code. A bedroom without legal egress isn't a bedroom. Basement lighting is critical. We rough-in recessed cans, install switches and outlets at code height, and use finishes that make the space feel open instead of bunker-like. Window wells with light and drainage make all the difference.
Clay soil drainage, radon awareness, altitude effects, frost depth, permit requirements. We’ve finished basements all over the Front Range. We know what works here.
Interior French drains, vapor barriers, sump systems, proper grading. We test for moisture, install to prevent it, and warranty the work. A wet basement is a failed basement—we don’t let that happen.
We pull permits, pass inspections, and deliver code-compliant work. Egress windows, electrical, plumbing, ventilation. Your finished basement is insurable and saleable.
We quote the whole job upfront. Framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, flooring. No surprises. No ‘well, the soil was wetter than we thought’ price increases. We budget for Colorado conditions.
Concrete: we polish and stain existing slabs, or pour new ones where needed. Colored concrete, sealed and maintained, looks professional and stands up to foot traffic. LVP (luxury vinyl plank): waterproof, warm underfoot, durable. Installs over concrete with minimal prep. Mimics wood without the moisture issues. Tile: ceramic or porcelain over properly prepared slab. Ideal for bathrooms and utility areas. Carpet: yes, if moisture is managed. We test subfloor moisture before install, specify underlayment, and use quality installation practices. Radiant heat: if you're building in a basement, ask us about radiant heating under the floor. Colorado winters are cold. Warm feet make a basement livable.
Clay soil & moisture: our clay holds water. We install interior French drains, ensure gutters and downspouts direct water away, and use vapor barriers on the subfloor. We've seen basements flood from groundwater—we prevent it. Radon: Colorado is a radon state. We're aware of radon issues and can coordinate with radon mitigation companies. Ventilation design in basements includes radon considerations.
Finished basements need building permits. We pull them, pass inspections, and give you a permitted, compliant space. Egress windows, electrical, plumbing—all to code.
Denver sits at 5,280 feet. Adhesives and paints cure differently at altitude. We account for it. Concrete finishing and epoxy application require adjustments. Colorado's frost line is 36 inches. Any foundation work, including egress window wells or drainage system installation, accounts for frost depth. We don't do work that frost heaves will undermine.
Depends on size and scope. A 500-square-foot bedroom and rec room typically takes 6–8 weeks from start to finish. A larger suite with bathroom and utilities takes 10–14 weeks. We schedule in advance and give you a realistic timeline.
Not if they're built right. Our clay soil holds water, but interior French drains, vapor barriers, and proper grading solve it. We install these systems as standard practice. Testing for radon and installing ventilation is also part of our process.
Engineered hardwood is more moisture-tolerant than solid wood. Both can work in basements if moisture is controlled and the subfloor is tested. We recommend LVP for basements because it's waterproof, warmer underfoot, and requires less maintenance than wood.
Yes. Colorado code requires egress windows in bedrooms, including basements. A room without legal egress isn't technically a bedroom. We install egress windows to code, including proper wells and drainage.
Yes, within limits. Colorado code requires 7-foot ceiling height in habitable spaces. If your basement is shorter, we explore options: furring down beams (minimal height loss), using drop ceiling in utility areas, or relocating utilities. Low doesn't mean impossible.
Ballpark: $50–$100+ per square foot depending on finishes, utilities, and scope. A 500-sq-ft bedroom and rec room with standard finishes runs $25,000–$50,000. A full suite with bathroom and higher-end materials runs $50,000–$100,000+. We quote each project individually.
Yes, always. Building permits are required for finished basements. We pull them, manage inspections, and deliver permitted work. It costs a bit more upfront, but your basement is then legal, insurable, and marketable.
Yes. If you're pouring a new slab or adding flooring, radiant heat is a great option. It keeps floors warm in winter (important in basements), improves comfort, and is energy-efficient. We can design and install it.

I had a few things around the house that needed attention — a leaking kitchen sink, a loose faucet, and a couple of light fixtures that needed to be replaced. The handyman showed up on time, worked efficiently, and explained everything he was doing. Everything works perfectly now and the price was very reasonable. I’ll definitely call again for future projects.
We hired them to mount a large TV above our fireplace and install some shelving in the living room. The installation looks fantastic and everything is perfectly level and secure. He was very professional, clean, and clearly knew what he was doing. It’s hard to find reliable help these days, but this company is the real deal.
Our toilet started constantly running and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. The handyman came out the same day, diagnosed the issue quickly, and replaced the parts inside the tank. The repair was fast and now it works like new. Super friendly service and very knowledgeable.
We had several small projects piling up around the house — a towel rack that came loose, a cabinet door that wouldn’t close properly, and a bathroom fixture that needed to be replaced. Instead of calling multiple companies, we had them handle everything in one visit. The work was high quality and done much faster than we expected.
Excellent experience from start to finish. They installed a new kitchen faucet, fixed a slow draining sink, and even helped adjust a door that had been sticking for months. Everything was done professionally and the workspace was left spotless. It’s great knowing we now have a dependable handyman to call.
